JB Anacostia-Bolling - LEARN D.C. Charter School

Abstract

The Grant enables the Lawndale Educational and Regional Network to construct access enhancements to the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Off-Installation LEARN DC Campus, which directly contributes to enhancing the quality of life to the local communities, inclusive of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The enhancements improve the quality of life for over 5,500 uniformed service members and their families; which includes 1,263 school-aged children. Construction of the access enhancements to the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Off-Installation LEARN DC Campus addresses the Tier I Military Quality of Life factor, outlined in the Office of Economic Adjustment Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Project Final Federal Funding Opportunity.
