Joint Base Lewis-McChord Growth

Abstract

The South Sound Military & Communities Partnership works to address issues that affect military and civilian communities surrounding Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and to foster outcomes that are mutually beneficial for the South Puget Sound region and the installation. This grant will enable the community to develop a plan to meet the needs of a growing Joint Base Lewis McChord in order to better support the military personnel and their families. This Growth Coordination Plan will facilitate better planning and support in the areas of transportation, public infrastructure, public services, employment, workforce development, education, housing, health care services, child care services and quality of life. Addressing these growth-related areas of concern will enable South Sound Military & Community Partnership to continue its collaborative partnership with Joint Base Lewis McChord to ensure continued operations and mission support at Joint Base Lewis McChord.
