Wright Patterson AFB - CU
Abstract
The purpose of this grant for the City of Fairborn and the regional jurisdictions is to promote the long-term sustainability of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base through compatible development and collaboration between the base and surrounding jurisdictions. This plan will identify existing and potential threats to WPAFB related to encroachment, transportation, infrastructure, operations, and environment and cultural resources. The Compatible Use Plan will include recommended implementation strategies for both the civilian community and military installation that will address threats affecting long-term WPAFB operations, which in turn affect the surrounding community. The MIR will include an assessment of WPAFB s needs, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and redundancies regarding natural and man-made threats, including, but not limited to, transportation, environmental, and energy matters.
