Office of the Governor Logistical Support FY2022 Supplemental Agreement

Abstract

The grant enables the Office of the Governor to serve as the central clearinghouse on all Federal actions related to the DoD realignments and growth initiatives on the island of Guam. The Office of the Governor’s responsiveness enhances the DoD operations and readiness, which ensures Guam’s strategic value to the Nation is sustained. The grant ensures the island’s equities are represented; while ensuring the Government of Guam is responsive to the highly dynamic, challenging, and pivotal DoD programs. The grant enables the Governor of Guam to sustain the Office of the Governor Community Defense Liaison Office (CDLO), which is paramount to the strategic alliance, between the Government of Guam and DoD. The strategic alliance is paramount to ensuring and enhancing military operations and readiness in the Western Pacific.
