Sierra Army Depot - MIR

Abstract

A Military Installation Resilience project at Sierra Army Depot and surrounding communities is providing planning and technical assistance in order to respond to threats to installation resilience caused by lack of necessary resources outside the military installation, which can adversely affect the military installation and its operations supporting the National Defense Strategy. The project includes a Resilient Energy Infrastructure Feasibility Study, a Transportation Network Resilience Assessment and Action Plan, and a Sustainability Plan for the Amadee Army Airfield. These activities include installation-specific assessments of community and infrastructure assets, and development of strategic plans with implementation actions to ensure the community s Military Installation Resilience activities are compatible with, and supportive of, vital training, testing, and other military missions at Sierra Army Depot.
