UMass Lowell DCIP FY22
Abstract
This project constructs a new cyber operations center with sensitive compartmented information facility within a UMass Lowell Community Cyber Support Facility to support the region during critical incidents. As Hanscom AFB does not have a dedicated facility to address community cybersecurity functions, an off-base physical location is needed to coordinate incident response between the private sector, state and local governments, and multiple federal agencies. The new facility will enable a coordinated response and facilitate communication between the base and local authorities to improve responses during incidents.
