NAS Key West - IR

Abstract

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Resiliency Plan integrates critical military resilience concerns into the strategies, plans, and investments of the City of Key West to foster, protect, and create a resilient future that considers the unique contributions of Key West s military operations. The Project Team will produce, in partnership with key stakeholders, a Feasibility Study and Plan with recommendations to enhance readiness and response to both natural and man-made hazards. This 19-month effort will leverage cutting-edge local and national expertise to identify and incorporate military installations resilience needs and fully integrate those needs into regional resilience planning. Relying on a scenario-based approach to stakeholder engagement and developing a framework for understanding the capabilities and responsibilities of key stakeholders will ensure that the DoD has the information and strategies it needs to increase the adaptive capacity of our local military installations. This project will be led by the City of Key West and leverage our strong relationships with NAS Key West and other stakeholders.
