Abstract
The recipient will apply these funds to undertake enhancements to local infrastructure to support local military value, installation resiliency, and/or family quality of life. This project constructs a new secondary electric transmission line and upgrades substations to support the Sierra Army Depot by providing a reliable primary source of power to the Sierra Army Depot and the 8,100 landowners in the electrical service area. This project also eliminates the Sierra Army Depot s current single point of failure by providing additional locations for power to enter the base. The secondary electrical transmission connection will feed the entire system and increase the grid capacity for all member-owners.
