Umatilla Redevelopment 2024
Abstract
The Columbia Development Authority is receiving technical and financial support for the continued planning and redevelopment of the Umatilla Army Depot, located in Umatilla and Morrow counties in Eastern Oregon. The grant assistance is key in enabling the Columbia Development Authority to negotiate contracts and bring industry and jobs back to the Depot site. The grant is to continue the Columbia Development Authority operational support and consulting services associated with Legal Services, Planning Services, and Audit Services. This grant advances the Columbia Development Authority s ability to develop the 5,492 acres of the former Depot property. The Army and Columbia Development Authority expect to conclude the transfer of the 28 acres of parcel 2 in a second phase at a later date.
