USAG Hawaii - Grant 1

Abstract

The University of Hawaii will conduct a two-pronged US Army Garrison Hawaii installation resilience study to address the state’s need for a robust biocontrol program and to improve efforts to mitigate wildfires. Planning to support biocontrol to address the significant and increasing threat of invasive species along with the intertwined wildfire mitigation efforts will benefit Department of Defense by improved sustainability of its mission and resources.
