CNMI-CUC Energy and Utility Master Plan

Abstract

This grant enables the Governor of the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI) and Commonwealth Utility Corporation (CUC) to assess, sustain, and enhance the operational effectiveness, resiliency, and sustainability of the CUC utility infrastructure on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, which are vital to sustaining life for all residents and visitors in the CNMI, and paramount to the DoD. Additionally, this holistic and deliberate approach will ensure the Commonwealth’s utility CIPs and funding are aligned, planned, designed, and constructed as sound investments that proactively consider the evolving and emerging economic growth within the CNMI, as well as Department of Defense program demands.
