Colorado Springs Regional MIRR Implementation Ph 3
Abstract
The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) is implementing recommended strategies and actions from the 2018 Colorado Springs Regional Joint Land Use Study Report, to include coordination on wildfire mitigation, stormwater mitigation, and critical infrastructure analysis through a table-top exercise. They are continuing collaborative partnerships with the USAF Academy, Fort Carson, and Space Base Delta 1 (Peterson SFB, Schriever SFB, and Cheyenne Mtn SFS) to ensure land uses are compatible with military operations and natural and man-made threats are mitigated to support military missions.
