CNMI Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs Logistic Support - FY25

Abstract

The grant enables the Governor to sustain the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Island s (Commonwealth) Bureau of Military Affairs, within the Office of the Governor. The Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs enhances the role of the Office of the Governor as the single point of contact for all Federal actions associated with the Department of Defense programs; ensures the Commonwealth’s equities are represented; enables the Governor and the Commonwealth Government to make informed decisions on behalf of the Commonwealth; enhances communications with the Department of Defense; enhances community outreach and awareness; and enhances the Office of the Governor and Commonwealth Government’s responsiveness and effectiveness to the Department of Defense programs and initiatives.
