State of Maryland - IR

Abstract

This grant enables Maryland to identify and mitigate risks or hazards that threaten the resiliency of long-term military mission around Maryland military installations while also supporting the sustainability and preparedness in Maryland’s defense communities and continuing regional community development in and around Maryland military and federal installations. As a first step in a phased approach, Maryland is building resilience in military communities by organizing project stakeholders and subject matter experts from local communities, military installations, state and federal agencies to develop a collaborative framework to improve resilience and mitigate risks shared by defense communities and installations, capitalizing and expanding upon local, state, and military resiliency planning efforts.
