Nathan Twining ES/MS Grand Forks AFB
Abstract
Grand Forks Public School District #140, operating Nathan Twining Elementary and Middle School, is planning design and demolition in preparation for construction of a new, Pre K-Grade 8 elementary and middle school facility on the Grand Forks Air Force Base to meet the FCAR condition deficiencies defined by the DoD in the January 26, 2018 Facility Condition Assessment Report. This report outlining building and capacity deficiencies, along with the deficiencies identified by the LEA, warrant building replacement. This FCAR report placed Nathan Twining Elementary and Middle School #70 on the Public Schools on Military Installations Priority List. The proposed design meets state and federal design guidelines, capacity requirements, and technology needs.
