Travis AFB Grant 2 - IR

Abstract

The City of Fairfield, CA, is partnering with Travis Air Force Base, Solano County, Travis Community Consortium (TCC), other municipalities, and both public and private utilities to address a regional need to improve energy resilience. This grant funds explorations of additional transmission, distributed generation, microgrid, and storage technologies to support mission assurance at Travis Air Force Base, and move toward 14-day energy resilience for the entire region.
