State of Indiana - Diversification
Abstract
To support economic diversification planning and efforts in defense dependent counties, the State of Indiana, through Purdue University, is conducting capability studies for the semiconductor and electric vehicle battery industries to support at least 100 small to medium-sized defense companies located in Daviess, Marion, Martin, Miami, and Whitley counties. Capability study outcomes will inform an action plan which be shared with Indiana defense stakeholders. Purdue University is also providing technical assistance to at least 8 small to medium-sized defense companies located in these counties to enable diversification efforts.
