Grissom ARB - IR

Abstract

This two-pronged regional study takes a deep dive into the foundational aspects of community resilience that are essential to sustaining infrastructure required to successfully advance the military mission at Grissom Air Reserve Base. The goals of the study are to produce user-friendly documents and tools intended to objectively inform Grissom Air Reserve Base leadership about current and future resilience challenges and opportunities, and to support community leaders in making well-informed decisions that account for future conditions and better prepare the community surrounding the installation to be innovative, forward thinking, and adaptive. The primary areas of information that will be substantially advanced by this study include stormwater infrastructure and electrical infrastructure risk exposure as well as identification/prioritization of efforts needed to mitigate exposure.
