Patrick SFB Potable Water Resiliency - IR

Abstract

This grant with the City of Cocoa, Florida, is developing engineering design drawings and applicable federal, state and local permits for a 100% bid ready solicitation for the future construction of a 16-inch water main to connect existing pipelines at the Southwest and Northeast corners of the base. The line will supply service redundancy in water service to both Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) by completing a loop with the existing mains. The new line design will run in an existing right of way along State Road A1A. The project improves military readiness and response by improving reliable water supply and quality for both PSFB and CCSFS as well as the local communities of Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral.
