Naval Station Newport IR Grant 3
Abstract
The Town of Middletown, in partnership with the City of Newport and Town of Portsmouth, Rhode Island (host communities), is conducting a three-part study in support of Naval Station Newport: an assessment of transportation, water and sewer capacity and flooding, and land-use analysis. These efforts seek to minimize encroachment risk while ensuring continuity of essential services for the three host communities and mission assurance for Naval Station Newport. The study will make recommendations to facilitate development and growth that benefits the host communities and the Naval Station Newport.
