Abstract

Established in 1941, and chartered by the United States Congress, the USO strengthens America s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. The USO provides morale-boosting programs including entertainment tours, free internet and phone access, electronics, personal care items, and recreation services for deployed service members, including service members in combat zones, family events and support to wounded, ill and injured service members and their families.
