Enhanced Behavioral Health Training and PTSD Research Partnership Program between United States and Ukraine

Abstract

The objective of this effort is to rapidly disseminate critical knowledge and skills in areas such as PTSD and suicide prevention, leveraging existing partnerships for both direct and indirect training methods. This effort will provide Ukrainian providers with the tools needed to address urgent mental health needs, thereby improving overall public health outcomes. Furthermore, the project includes an evaluation component to assess the feasibility and acceptability of these training approaches, which will inform responses to future crises and contribute to a scalable model adaptable for various near-peer conflicts and humanitarian efforts.
