INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION (ACD&P)
Abstract
This project supports the ACD&P of the following efforts: The Joint Service General Purpose Mask (JSGPM) Advanced Respiratory Protection Initiative (ARPI) will address improved mask protection, filter protection against Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC)/Toxic Industrial Materials (TIM) and improved profile and breathing resistance; and wearability compatibility/integration. This will be accomplished through class-based analysis, Filtration Advanced Screening Test (FAST), desorption study, and advanced CBRN filtration efforts.
