Cyber Operations
Abstract
This project verifies and validates that cybersecurity and/or cybersecurity-enabled products (firewalls, data/network encryption devices, routers, Intrusion Detection Systems, etc.) used within the MDA infrastructure have a current and Evaluated Assurance Level (EAL) certification and rating. They assure that validated IT products are listed on the DOD Approved Products List (APLITS). There is an additional requirement to routinely identify findings and prepare a report with recommendations. The Warfighter Strategic Integration directorate (DDW) requires this support in the IT product evaluation provided. Activities in the Project are necessary to comply with the Federal Information Systems Modernization Act of 2014 (FISMA).
