Defense of Guam Development

Abstract

MDA is developing options for an Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) System for Defense of Guam. The Department has undertaken studies on a range of missile defense architecture options, emphasizing effectiveness, survivability, and flexibility against an evolving threat. While the final architecture designs and configuration are not yet finalized, there are common areas to the proposed architecture options which this funding is designed to jumpstart. This funding will allow the Department to more rapidly field these capabilities.
