Far Forward Behavioral Health Care Advanced Tech

Abstract

This Project will deliver a tested delivery system for behavioral health interventions oriented to far forward settings that will ensure the psychological readiness of Soldiers and safeguard their far forward readiness and performance in austere operating environments, under high intensity operational stressors. The cited research is fully coordinated with Program Element (PE) 0602143A (Soldier Lethality Technology) and complimentary to PE 0603118A (Soldier Lethality Advanced Technology), and is fully coordinated with other Services in order to avoid duplication of effort. The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense (Research and Engineering) science and technology focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Research in this Project is performed by the United States Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), Fort Detrick, MD.
