Survey for ONR Seabed Characteristic Acoustic Experiment
Abstract
A survey experiment has been planned for July-August 2015 in support of the Seabed Characterization Experiment scheduled for 2016. ONR has requested that David Knobles and Preston Wilson of Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin (ARL:UT), act as chief scientists (CS) for both the 2015 survey and 2016 experiment. This proposal describes the approach that will be used to complete the CS duties for the 2015 survey and to perform a few basic survey-minded acoustic measurements with a broadband source.
