ONR SUPPORT FOR THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BOILING AND CONDENSATION HEAT TRANSFER
Abstract
Abstract: Funds are requested to support the attendance of graduate students and early career faculty members to the 9th International Conference on Boiling and Condensation Heat Transfer will be held between April 26-30, 2015 in Boulder, CO. The conference will examine the state-of-the-art in the science and technology of pool and flow boiling and will include keynote lectures, selected research presentations, and poster presentations. We expect many current and past researchers who have been funded through ONR support to attend and present their work. Based on an anticipated registration fee of $500, approximately 10 additional personnel would be able to attend and have the opportunity to interact with top national and international boiling investigators and gain an understanding of the state of the art in boiling research.
