15TH IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN NANOTECHNOLOGY
Abstract
15th IEEE International Conference in Nanotechnology Rome, Italy, July 27th-30th, 2015 I. Introduction The 15th IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology will be held in Rome, Italy, July 27th to 30th, 2014, following successful conferences held in Maui (2001), Washington D.C. (2002), S. Francisco (2003), Munich (2004), Nagoya (2005), Cincinnati (2006), Hong Kong (2007), Arlington (2008), Genoa (2009), Seoul (2010), Portland (2011), Birmingham (2012), Beijing (2013) and Toronto (2014). The conference is sponsored by the Nanotechnology Council, which was officially formed in 2002 and has since then been the focus of nanotechnology activities in IEEE and more generally, a most important focus of the nanotechnology community worldwide The conference aims to bring together researchers, industry, workers entrepreneurs and funding agency leaders, in the general area of nanotechnology. IEEE NANO 2015 will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, interaction, networking and collaboration for research and development in nanotechnology with special attention to the latest advances in nanotechnology. The technical program covers all major topics in Nanotechnology and specifically engineering issues. Plenary talks, Invited talks and Contributed papers will be given, and tutorials ad workshops will be organized. II. Structure and Scope of IEEE Nano 2015 The IEEE-NANO-2015 conference is organized as plenary lectures of broad interest for the whole Nantechnology field, and dedicated sessions on the following topics: ? Nanorobotics ? Nanofabrication/Nanomanipulation ? Nanobiology ? Nano-optics, Nano-optoelectronics and Nano-photonics ? Nanomagnetics and Spintronics ? Nanoelectronics (Inorganic) ? Nanoelectronics (Organic) ? NanoCircuits and NAnoarchitectures ? Nanosensors and Nanoactuators ? Nanomaterials ? Multiscale Modelling ? Nanoenergy ? NEMS/MEMS ? Nanomedicine ? Nanopackaging ? Special Session: Graphene ? Special Session: Nanoelectromagnetics and Nano-EMC ? Special Session: Materials and device characterization ? Special Session: Nanotechnology for microwave and THz Sessions will be handled by Chairpersons, chosen among the NTC Technical Committees and eminent scientist and technologist all over the world. These will select a number of invited talk for each session of the IEE-NANO-2015 Conference. 2 The list of the plenary speakers follows: 1. George Bourianoff, Intel | USA 2.
