TCC-Higher Education Pathways for Maritime Mechatronics Technicians (MechTech)
Abstract
Tidewater Community College (TCC), in collaboration with Old Dominion University(ODU), will develop and implement a set of standards and build an educational pathway from an Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) to a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in General Engineering Technology with emphasis on Mechatronics ~ with a maritime concentration. The proposed project will focus on a dual effort in the development of a pathway for maritime mechatronics education.
