Conference Grant Proposal for 2015 IEEE PPC

Abstract

Abstract The IEEE Pulsed Power Conference (PPC) is a biannual conference sponsored by the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society. The PPC is the premier conference for engineers, researchers, technical managers, and students to meet and discuss the latest developments in the pulsed power field. Topics range from power electronics and their use in novel prime power and system topologies to energetic beams, high energy density plasmas, and high power microwave sources and their applications, to low temperature plasmas for industrial and medical applications. These developing technologies are of direct interest to Academia, industry and government labs, as well as NSF, DOE, DOD, NIH and many other agencies. This year’s Pulsed Power Conference is co-located with the IEEE Symposium on Fusion Energy. This grant will be used to support student travel to the conference and audio visual labor to assist the technical presenters.
