NVIS Antennas in Support of Agile Bloodhound 2015

Abstract

Project Abstract Experimental demonstration of University of Colorado Boulder developed analysis and design approach for engineering of low-profile HF antennas on-the-move is proposed. This approach will enable the full utilization of 24 kHz bandwidth in 2-12 MHz band of importance for nearvertical incidence skywave communications. In addition, the antenna prototypes will be fabricated and integrated with the commercial and custom tuners to showcase this capability on an MRAP All Terrain Vehicle platform.
