Secure Wirelss Control for Future Naval Smart Grils

Abstract

This research thrust would focus on modeling and analysis of the electromagnetic characteristics of thebelow-deck space in order to ensure that wireless communication systems comply with electromagneticinterference (EMI), hazards of electromagnetic radiation to ordnance (HERO), and off-hull electromagnetic emission levels (EMCON) standards. This characterization is important in determining the communication and networking constraints that would be present when deploying future smart grid control networks.
