Bubble Dynamics in a Confined Domain

Abstract

The following tasks will be performed:1. Investigate bubble dynamics in a single microchannel with inlet and outlet restrictors2. Characterize interactions between two bubbles in a single microchannel with inlet and outlet restrictors3. Utilize numerical simulations to study bubble dynamics in a single microchannel, including tracking of the bubble~s liquid-vapor interface and its shape/size/growth rate, the influence of flow, temperature, and pressure on bubble motion, etc.4. Detect and track a bubble~s interface and estimate the velocity field along the interface using automated vision-based techniques
