Harmonic Generation in Compact, High Power RF Magnetron Sources- Corrected package

Abstract

In the proposed work we will use simulations tools, like Ansoft~s HFSS, to design improved couplers to efficiently couple the 1, 2, and 4 GHz signals out of the MFRPM. This work will explore the possibility of tuning the structure to favor a particular mode of operation. We will also investigate improvements in cathodes, anode structures, and magnetic field profiles to improve rep rate operation, peak power, peak efficiency, mode separation, and the synchronous operation of two slow wave structures within the same device.
