Investigation of the Interaction of Multiple Infrared Filters with Long Wavelength Infrared Spectra of Explosives and Interferents

Abstract

We propose to investigate the interaction of broadband Long Wavelength Infrared optical filters, with spectralbands of explosive simulants, explosives related chemicals, and various surfaces. It will result in the development of robust, small, light-weight, and inexpensive sensors.
