THIS GRANT IS A CONTINUATION OF N000141410535 High-Accuracy Navigation and Sensor Technology (HANST)

Abstract

The High-Accuracy Navigation and Sensor Technology (HANST) project will be part of Office of Naval Research (ONR) Compact Modular Sensor System (CMSS) program to develop a capability for the accurate and reliable detection, positioning and tracking of at-sea mines from a helicopter platform for neutralization in a warfare environment. ARL/Penn State University (PSU) shall provide technical expertise, guidance and concepts for the development, implementation and evaluation of CMSS capabilities in the areas of high-accuracy navigation and remote mine target positioning and tracking from the sensor platform. ARL/PSU shall attend/support CMSS technical planning and review meetings and test demonstrations and provide written assessments and analyses of the test plans and test results.
