Analysis and Publication of Long-Range Low-Frequency Acoustic Results from the Pacific Ocean

Abstract

Analysis and Publication of Long-Range Low-Frequency Acoustic Results from the Pacific Ocean. The Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington has been a leader in the collection of long-range low-frequency acoustic data. For over the past 20 years this work was concentrated in the Pacific Ocean. Analysis and publication of results are continuing from the Long-range Ocean Acoustic Propagation Experiment (LOAPEX) and the PhilSea 9 and PhilSea 10-11 experiments. This three-year proposal addresses the analysis and publication of results from these experiments as well as our network of bottom-mounted receivers.
