Air-Sea and Lateral Exchange Processes in East Indian Coastal Current off Sri Lanka (Supplement)
Abstract
This proposal requests supplementary funding for conducting measurements in the Indian Ocean as a part of ASIRI initiative. The funds will be utlized for supporting cruises to be conducted using the Sri Lanken research vessel Samudhrika. The research cruises will include those for microstructure measurements , glider deployment and PIES deployment and retrieval. The vessel will be rented from teh National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency of Sri Lanka.
