Alaska Microgrid Innovation and Commercialization
Abstract
The Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will provide R&D assistance to industry partners with relevant microgridtechnology developments through a competitive process. Technologies targeted are expected to improve islanded microgrid efficiency and stability at increasedrenewable energy contributions. In collaboration with a Utility Advisory Board, ACEP will determine technical needs and hurdles for islanded microgrid operation,and lead, or support development of enabling technologies as needed.
