Autonomous Reverberation Measurement System

Abstract

Under DURIP funding, the University of Washington will build an autonomous standalone mid-frequency ocean reverberation measurement system that can stand on the ocean bottom for 3 months. The system will allow for scientific measurement of ocean surface reverberation and its dependence on surface roughness and wave direction.
