Center for Turbulence Summer Program
Abstract
The primary objective of the Center for Turbulence Research (CTR) is to stimulate and produceadvances in understanding and prediction of complex multi-physics turbulent flows forengineering analysis. The primary means by which CTR seeks to achieve these objectives is bybringing together groups of bright and accomplished individuals in fields bearing on turbulenceto address problems of practical interest. Postdoctoral fellowships are used to bring outstandingindividuals to the CTR facilities. A special biennial Summer School provides opportunity for amonth long concentrated collaborative effort by advanced graduate students and their facultyadvisors and research scientists and engineers from industry and national laboratories.
