This grant is a continuation of N00014-13-1-0424 Ultra-High-Throughput Design and Optimization of Sense-And-Actuate Circuits in Marine and Soil Bacteria

Abstract

The proposed effort will implement a transformative platform for constructing, characterizing, and optimizing synthetic biological circuits in two environmentally robust chassis microbes. The project leverages several recent platform developments by the PI s lab to create an integrated approach for high-throughput screening for synthetic circuit function in E. coli as well as the soil organism Pseudomonas putida and the marine organism Roseobacter denitrificans.
