Decentralized Perception from Online Learning andSemantic Understanding

Abstract

To support future naval operations that embrace the reality of the Battlefield Internet of Things (BF???IoT), a researchproject will extend our prior work on regime change in vector time series to the here???to???fore unexplored domain ofmulti???regime random fields. The research merge ideas from topology and information theory. The proposed idea ofmulti???regime random fields is entirely new, and it fundamentally differs from traditional studies of multi???regimeprocesses in that there is no clear time axis in this setting.
