2017 ROPO Don Wagner/ Andrew Loerch - Combinatorial Optimization
Abstract
This proposal is for support of the research program of ONR Program Officer DonaldK. Wagner under ONR~s Research Opportunities for Program Officers (ROPO)program. George Mason University will serve as the host institution for this research.Research will be conducted in the area of Mathematical Optimization, and inparticular, in the area of combinatorial optimization. Combinatorial-optimizationproblems represent an important class of mathematical-optimization problems.They arise in numerous application areas such as communications, distribution,routing, and scheduling.
