AN OPEN, REMOTELY ACCESSIBLE TESTBED FOR HETEROGENEOUS, AUTONOMOUS TEAMS

Abstract

This proposal will develop an open, remotely accessible multi-robot research labwhere researchers and educators from around the country can develop and testcoordinated control algorithms for teams of heterogeneous, autonomous robots.Such a facility would provide researchers with access to a state-of-the-art researchfacility of relevance to a number of efforts of relevance to DoD and would allow forrapid deployment of control and coordination programs on mixed air-groundrobotic teams.
