Toward Integrated Structural Health Monitoring Systems for Navy Structures
Abstract
Funds are provide to Dr. Salvatore Salamone, from the University of Texas at Austin, in the amount of $100,000.00 for the FY-17 only increment of a Grant totaling $300,000.00 for work ~Toward Integrated Structural Health Monitoring Systems for Navy Structures~ Some of the activities to be performed as part of this effort include: 1) Modeling multiple wave paths in complex structures; 2) Developing diagnostic imaging algorithms for damage location, classification and severity quantification: 3) Uncertainty quantification of damage location, classification and severity quantification; 4) Experimental Testing using a 3~x3~ panel with 1~ wide a centerline with 6 fasteners.
