Sea State Data Analysis
Abstract
The continuation of Sea State data analysis proposed herein will result in an additional two papers from the Sea State program, each" with a focus on observational parameterization of processes not presently included in modern forecast models: pancake ice formation and subsequent changes to turbulent fluxes. The analysis will extend the preliminary results of a single case study to an additiona"l six case studies, each with direct flux calculations and model application. This work will be the completion of a PhD thesis by Ma"dison Smith.
