Building Capacity and Partnerships to Improve Marine Mammal Science: 22nd Biennial Conference of the Society for Marine Mammalogy
Abstract
This proposal is for technical support of an international conference of leading marine mammal scientists from all over the world to" advance the discipline of marine mammal science globally. The 22nd Biennial Conference will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the"" Halifax Conference Center from 22-27 October. The theme is ""2017: A Marine Mammal Odyssey, Eh!"" The conferencw will include key-not""e lectures and oral presentations, over 1,000 poster presentations and workshops on hot topics in marine mammal science. Halifax wil""l attract approximately 1,800 participants from around the world. Specifically we are asking ONR for help in funding the facilities" rentals for the poster session.
