17th Polymer Fuel Cell Symposium

Abstract

17th Polymer Fuel Cell SymposiumAbstractThe 17th Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell Symposium is devoted to all aspects of research, d""evelopment, and engineering of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs), as well as low-temperature direct-fuel cells using either ani"on or cation exchange membranes. The intention is to bring together the international community working on the subject and to enable effective interactions between research and engineering communities. The symposium has six different sections covering Diagnostic"s/Characterization Methods, MEA Design, Model Fuel Cell Systems, Stack/BOP Design, Gas Processing, Cation-Exchange Membrane Performa""nce & Durability, Catalyst Activity/Durability for Hydrogen(- Reformate) Acidic Fuel Cells, Materials for Alkaline Fuel Cells and Di""rect-Fuel Cells, plus the sixth new session on Polymer-electrolyte electrolysis. We anticipate that approximately 400 talks will be"" submitted to the PEFC 17 symposium. After a first day of plenary talks, there will be 4 days of 6 concurrent sessions. This sympos""ium will take place during The Electrochemical Society~s 232nd meeting in National Harbor, MD.
